SCOTT PEAVEY

The Rocket City Titans head coach is Scott Peavey.Coach Peavey is a graduate of Jacksonville State Universiy, where he played football all four years. Coach Peavey was a member of the 1992 National Championship team jor JSU, playing linebacker. While at JSU he earned a degree in education.Coaching Experience

1995 – Assistant Coach at 4A Walter Wellborn
1999 – Head Coach at 4A Walter Wellborn -  Improved a struggling program to back to back playoff appearances in 2000 and    2001.
2002 – Head Coach at Harrelson County High School – 3A in Georgia, equivalent to 6A in Alabama.
2005 – Head Coach at 4A Ashville High School in Alabama.
2008/Present – Head Coach at 5A Madison County High School. He is also weight lifting teacher for the school, as well as the head wrestling coach.

Coach Peavey will bring with him an exciting new facelift to the Titans offense and looks to go undefeated in 2012. The resources that Peavey will be able to bring to the Titan Nation will be unmatched, and the Titans are proud to have such a talented coach.

KEITH HENDERSON

The Titans are proud to announce the hiring of Keith Henderson. The Titans welcome Coach Henderson with open arms to assist in the coaching of runningbacks and the offensive line.

Last year, Coach Henderson was the Head Coach of 6A Powerhouse, Grissom High School.
Prior to his arrival at Grissom he was at Sparkman High School where he began as Offensive Line/Defensive Line Strength coach from 1994-1999, became the Head Football Coach from 1999-2002 and the Head Wrestling Coach from 1994-2002.

Coach Henderson earned two Bachelor of Science degrees, one in Education and the other in Recreation from Jacksonville State University. He also received a football scholarship to JSU upon his graduation from Butler High School in 1985. He was named the 1988 & 1989 All Gulf South Conference Center. After graduation he was hired as a graduate assistant coaching the Centers and Guards at JSU, as well as acting as the Strength Coach. In 1994 he took a position at Dadeville High School as the Offensive/Defensive Line Strength Coach.

Coach Henderson was named to the Jacksonville State University All Century Team (1st Team)Center and to the Gulf South Conference All Decade Team(1980′s). He is also a member of the Huntsville Madison County Sports Hall of Fame Class of 2008.
